How to import messages from Gorgias via HTTP?

This article will explain how to import your Gorgias ticket messages into Playvox Customer AI via the Gorgias HTTP integration.

Step 1 - Get a Playvox Customer AI Webhook URL

Webhooks allow you to programmatically send information from one service to another when something happens. In this case, we want Gorgias to notify Playvox Customer AI every time a new message is created in Gorgias.

Please contact your Customer Success Manager or our support team to request a Webhook URL for your Gorgias integration.

Step 2 - Navigate to Gorgias Settings

  • Log in to your Gorgias account as an administrator
  • In the top left of the screen, click on the three-dot button
  • Navigate to Settings

  • In Settings, under the App Store section, locate the HTTP Integration option

Step 3 - Configure the HTTP integration

  • On the HTTP Integration page, click Add HTTP Integration
  • Under Integration Name, type in "Playvox Customer AI"
  • Under Triggers, only tick the box Ticket Message Created. Please leave the other options unticked
  • Under URL, paste in the URL supplied to you by Playvox in Step 1
  • Under HTTP Method, choose POST
  • Under Request body (JSON), please select "Send the entire ticket/message JSON"
  • Leave all the other settings unchanged.
  • Save your integration by clicking Add Integration.

Step 4 - Notify us once you're done

Our team will need to complete a quick manual step on our end to enable your Gorgias - Customer AI integration.
